Jazz guitarist, Brad Holmberg, superbly approaches melodies and soars with his tasteful and smooth, jazz solos. Jazz pianist Andrew McNamara provides fills and harmonies that blend with and enhance the sound. Andrew's piano solos soar. Upright/electric bassist, David Urness, provides the utmost innovation with his bass lines and melodies. His sophisticated and intricate solos are unmatched. Drummer, Marvin Topp, provides tasteful rhythms that mix elements of Jazz, Big Band, Funk, and Latin.​

The members of The Mary Guentzel Quintet vary in age and musical background, but all have one thing in common: they are the best at what they do.

The Mary Guentzel Quintet plays primarily the great jazz standards from the 30’s through the 50’s. Mary fronts the band and is the lead vocalist. She also accompanies Ron Affolter singing duets and harmonies. Myron Wolf adds tenor sax and clarinet, Sheila Swan plays the piano, Ron Affolter plays the upright string bass and Justin Tollefson provides the rhythm on the drums. Along with rehearsing together weekly, they pursue individual musical interests to refine their own sound.The Mary Guentzel Quintet consists of five members. The group was formed in 2004 after the disbandment of The Moonlighters dance band.

Sarah and the Houligans is a traditional NOLA jazz band, comprised of local musicians with a passion for the music of New Orleans. Reminiscent of the numerous pick-up bands of New Orleans, our music will transport you to one of the many tiny, hole-in-the-wall clubs of the French Quarter that entice people in with the sounds of traditional jazz.
